The institution undoubtedly excels in R & D. It offers intense research and consultancy services to industry. There are six scholars of research pursuing their Ph.D Programmes under part- time mode in this institution. It has been relentlessly conducting SDP’s, Seminars and Field surveys as a part of quality enhancement and development activities.

VIIMS is a recognized research center of Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore to pursue full time and part time Doctoral programme in Management and Computer Science. Presently A total of 9 scholars are pursuing their research in MBA and 2 scholars are pursuing research in MCA.
