To encourage students to consider self-employment as a career option and provide training in entrepreneurship, AICTE sponsored Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized activities and events to train and motivate the students on entrepreneurship.
To imbibe into the minds of the students the skills of entrepreneurship, it has established an EDC Cell in 2008 with a total grant of Rs. 8,00,000 from AICTE. It has also submitted various research proposals under unique schemes to AICTE appealing for research grants in the years to come.
Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)
A one week Entrepreneurial Skill Development Program for MBA Students was organized from 28th February 2011 to 5th March 2011by MSME in association with Entrepreneur Development Cell sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi.
Trade Fair
The EDC in associate with the district administration has been organizing Trade Fair every year to enhance the marketing skills of the students and to create entrepreneurship culture among the students.
